Our Story

Cookware
rooted in
tradition.

"Some cookware is just cookware. Ours carries centuries."

— Rootsware

Rootsware was born from a simple longing.

The kind that hits when you're far from home and suddenly crave the smell of coffee brewing in a copper cezve, or the warmth of a clay pot simmering on a Sunday morning.

We are a family rooted in tradition, now planted in New Jersey. Like so many who carry their heritage across oceans, we keep our culture alive in our kitchens.

300
Years of Craft

Every piece is made using methods refined over centuries by artisan hands.

Traditions Kept

The recipes, the rituals, the vessels passed down through generations.

1
Mission

To make your kitchen feel like home, wherever you are in the world.

The Objects

Memory made tangible.

These aren't just objects. A copper cezve is a Sunday morning ritual. A clay tagine is a grandmother's patience made visible. A handmade pot carries the fingerprints of the artisan who shaped it.

We believe the vessels we cook in matter as much as what we put inside them. They carry meaning. They carry story. They carry us.

Your order ships directly from our trusted partner workshops. Different makers, one standard: exceptional craft rooted in tradition.

The Craft

Sourced with intention.

Every piece in our collection is handcrafted using methods refined over hundreds of years — hammered copper from Anatolian workshops, unglazed clay shaped by artisan hands, tagines built for slow, patient cooking.

Rootsware is a curator, not a manufacturer. We seek out the best artisan producers across Anatolia and the Mediterranean — workshops that have been perfecting their craft for generations — and bring their work directly to diaspora homes across the United States. When your order arrives, it comes from the hands that made it. We simply found it for you.

For a life
well lived.
