turkish copper coffee pot set — 5 piece, every size for every occasion
One person before work, two people on a slow morning, four when the family sits down, eight when the whole group comes — each situation requires the right size cezve. Brewing more than a pot's intended capacity produces uneven results. The 5-piece copper set gives Leyla the right pot for every scenario without having to adjust or compromise. Five different sizes, all in copper, all with the consistent heat distribution that copper is known for.

Why We Selected This Piece
At Rootsware, we carry Turkish coffee pots because Turkish coffee is not a drink you make in a machine. The cezve — brewed directly on the stovetop — is the tool for one of the oldest coffee rituals in the world, recognized by UNESCO as intangible cultural heritage. We selected these for households that brew properly: on low heat, with patience, watching the foam rise.
How to Brew Turkish Coffee
- Use cold water — one small cup (2-3 oz) per serving.
- Add 1 heaped teaspoon of finely ground Turkish coffee per cup.
- Add sugar now if desired. Do not stir after this point.
- Place on lowest heat. Stir once gently at the beginning.
- Watch carefully — as coffee heats, foam rises. Just before it boils, spoon foam into cup.
- Pour slowly. Wait 30 seconds before drinking — grounds settle.
Care & Cleaning
- Rinse immediately after use — coffee residue hardens quickly.
- Hand-wash with mild soap. Do not use abrasive scrubbers on copper.
- For copper: polish exterior occasionally. The tin lining should not be scrubbed aggressively.
- Dry completely before storing.
Frequently Asked Questions
What size cezve do I need?
Match the pot to your serving: 1-cup for personal use, 2-cup for two people, 4-cup for a small gathering.
Can I use pre-ground coffee?
Turkish coffee must be ground to a very fine powder — finer than espresso. Look for coffee labeled "Turkish grind."
Why did my coffee not foam?
Heat too high, coffee not fresh, or water added hot. Start with cold water, lowest heat, fresh fine-ground coffee.
Is copper or stainless steel better?
Copper heats faster and more evenly — the traditional material. Stainless steel is more durable and low-maintenance.
